4″x6″ linoprint ‘ice out’ on cardstock

50% of profits are donated to the Rocky Mountain Immigrant Advocacy Network (RMIAN). there is an optional choice to add an additional donation that fully goes straight to RMAIN. “RMIAN provides free immigration legal and social services to immigrant children and to adults in immigration detention.” see their website for more information about the work they do. for more context on why we chose them, we live in Colorado and want to give back to a local charity. 

• custom cardstock colors can be ordered in most colors. ink will be black or white (whatever looks best on the particular cardstock color). we will email you to obtain what color you want or you can email us at hello@kittybat.art
• “seconds” are lower quality prints and will be a random paper color, chosen at random. they are still pretty nice, so we like to offer them at a discount but as so, aren’t up to the standards we like to sell at full price.

so, what is a linoprint? to paraphrase from wikipedia, linoprints are a type of printmaking technique where a design is cut into a linoleum surface, with a chisel in our circumstance. it’s kind of like creating a rubber stamp! we then use a roller with special ink, ink the linoleum, and then press it onto paper. as such, no individual print will be the same!
