FAQs and Terms of Service
Basics
A kittybat is a cat, bat, and demon hybrid. They are an original design mine. They are cats with bat wings with horns of various shapes and sizes and with 3 or more eyes. Most can shapeshift to some degree. And no, it does not have anything to do with the Crash Bandicoot character, Catbat (kittybats arguably came first!).
I sometimes ask myself the same thing. That’s what my About page is for! ;3
I make a lot of things. It’s hard for me to decide! I make what speaks to me, as cheesy as that sounds (but also, who doesn’t like cheese?). I typically make something in the realm of nature (animals and landscapes). I also make lots of things related to the queer community, as I am one of those weird queer people the media has warned you about. ;D
Colorado. Denver-area, more specifically. So if you’re looking to collaborate, or want my art in your shop, or want to pick up your art and not have it shipped, hit me up!
Art, Customs, and Related
Short answer: Yes. For specific things.
Pet portrait commissions are currently available here.
In general, slots for commissions will be announced when they are specifically available. However, please feel free to contact me any time for custom designs and art. I can add you to my recall list for customs. 🙂
Unfortunately, we live in an age of people stealing art and in an age of AI art (which is also theft). I watermark my art digitally in hopes to prevent this. The tangible versions of my art will not include this watermark, but they will be signed!
You are NOT to use any art on this site, my social media, or that which is physically acquired for AI-model generation, machine learning, or similar beep-boop algorithm nonsense. Do not resell, repost, or repurpose my art without express permission. For exclusive licensing of artworks, please contact me directly.
YES! If you are a store owner of brick-and-mortar shop (or an online shop) interested in my art, I very much am wanting my art out in the world. <3
Y E S PLEASE! Contact me if you are interested in having me at your event!
That’s certainly unfortunate, as you are missing out, but you are current browsing the website of a disabled, neurodivergent, mentally ill, queer artist, so I’m unsure what exactly you expect. Luckily for you, there is no shortage of artists in the world with art that is better suited for your taste, so ta-ta, adios, bye bye!
Shipping and Handling
Short answer: Yes. Sometimes.
Items currently ‘in-stock’ and not custom will be shipped within 3-5 business days, winter weather permitting. (I live in Colorado, so please be patient in the winter.) Custom items will have specific shipping information notated on the item page.
If a custom item is ordered with in-stock items, the in-stock items will be shipped with the custom item, unless other arrangements are made in advance.
Via USPS.
As of right now, I only ship to the USA and Canada, but if you are outside of that, please reach out to me, and I can possibly arrange shipment. (I’m not incredibly familiar with international shipping yet, and I don’t want to cause a headache for both of us, so if you’re willing to be patient, I will happily work with ya!)
If you need an item by a specific date, PLEASE notify me in advance. I am not a mind reader (this applies for just about anything but especially for this). I will happily work with you, but the request must be reasonable, and any rush requests will have appropriate rush fees and/or rush shipping applied. These fees vary based on the nature of the request.
If an item is not to your liking and can be returned in its original condition, I will accept returns (as long as the item doesn’t specifically state “no returns accepted”) with a full refund once the items is received in its original condition, and the buyer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
Yup! If you live in the Denver Metro (Colorado), I will happily arrange a local pick-up. I tend to like to avoid my art getting destroyed in the mail, if at all possible.
Yes, I collect applicable taxes on items.(and for legal reasons, ‘unfortunately’ is a joke).
All types on my website, as well as PayPal, Venmo, Cashapp, and cash (when IRL). Or telepathically beamed to me, if you have that kind of technology.
