so, here’s some details you need to know. please take a moment to read through all of the commission details before ordering. this helps to make sure we’re on the same page and ensures the best possible experience for all of us. orders placed without revieing the details below may be subject to cancelation. —

• what we prefer to draw for linoprints: animals, nature scenes, queer themes, social justice themes, and furry art.
• what we will not draw for linoprints: people/humans, heavily mechanical details/complex armor, detailed cityscapes, cars/vehicles, hate/harmful content, gore, and probably some other things we’re not thinking of but we’ll let you know if we won’t do it.
• linoprints are typically 4″x6″ or 5″x7″, or a size made from those sizes (e.g., 4″x4″ or 5″x3″), but can be made even larger; if you want something larger, please reach out to hello@kittybat.art.
• linoprint block-printing ink is typically black or white, but we do have blue, yellow, and red, so we can mix basically any color in the rainbow. this also means we can made simple gradients. these type of commissions will incur a small additional fee.
• linoprints can have alcohol-inked color added behind the block-printing ink. see the third image in the rotation above. this added color is typically a gradient, splashes of color, etc. please note that this does incur an additional fee.
• there are some limitations as to what can be drawn with linoprints due to the nature of how the carving works. if we feel like your commission wouldn’t work as a linoprint, we’ll let you know and see if we can find a middle ground on the design.
• IMPORTANT: when you commission a linocut, you’re helping bring a brand new artwork into the world. your commission supports the design, which is then used to create a small print edition that others can enjoy. as a commissioner, you’ll receive priority prints and first access. this typically means prints will be available for others to purchase, unless exclusivity is requested. (for example, if you’re commissioning a design of your fursona, we will not make prints of your fursona for others to purchase, unless you’re okay with that.)
• we will email you to discuss what color paper you want for your prints. you will receive 3 prints of your commission, so you can choose multiple paper colors, ink colors, etc. please watch out for an email from hello@kittybat.art. if you would like additional prints, please let us know. we can make as many as you would like; additional prints start at $4 each, depending on complexity.
• please be aware, the prices are subject to change if your commission is especially complex, we may request additional complexity fees. these are base prices for most commissions.
• any additional fees will be collected via venmo, paypal, cashapp, or through a unique unpublished product on our website if none of those work for you.
• note: linoprint commissions typically take between 4-6 weeks to complete but may take less time. we work a full-time job so please be patient.
